I Read This Book on a Low Day… and It Surprised Me.
Everyone has some kind of hobbies, right? In our free time—or sometimes by making time—we love doing things that truly make us happy.
Just like that, my hobby is reading books. But yes, I like to read based on my mood. That means, when everything feels normal and a bit happening, I enjoy reading anything—comedy, stories, fiction, habit-building books, self-improvement, or even biographies.
But when I feel extra happy, I naturally get drawn towards love stories. At that time, I love reading novels, romantic fiction, and sweet love stories that match my mood.
And when life feels stressful, when there’s tension, or when I don’t understand what to do and what not to do… I turn towards a different kind of books.
At that time, I prefer reading inspirational biographies, women-centric stories, and motivational books. And honestly, I really enjoy them a lot—they don’t just relax me, they also guide me and make me feel stronger from inside.
Have you ever read books according to your mood too?
I Wish I Hadn’t Ignored This Book for So Long
This time, the book I read is something I feel everyone should read at least once, no matter what mood you’re in. And if you also love reading books a lot, then you should definitely give this one a try.
It has everything—struggle, motivation, patience, courage, a lovely love story, a bit of boldness… it’s like a complete package. This book has honestly become the best one I’ve ever read in my life so far.
And the name of the book is The Last Queen by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.
There was a time when I used to think—yes, reading books is really fun, and I’ve always loved reading… but how can books be someone’s best friends? I never really understood that.
But as I grew up, I started reading more and more. And now it actually feels like—yeah, books really can be your best friends.
