Why Growing Up Feels So Hard In Your 20s

Remember how in childhood or even in college, whenever our birthday came, we used to get so excited that we would turn the whole house upside down – right?

Then those birthday treats and parties with friends – posting stories and statuses – everything used to feel so happening and exciting . Then whole day was just about birthday, birthday, and only birthday ! Nothing else even came to mind.

Shopping for our birthday and getting so many gifts used to feel so exciting.

But as we’re growing older, everything has started to feel so uninteresting and awful .

Has this excitement faded for you too?

Even now everything is the same – getting gifts, celebrating birthdays with friends and family – but suddenly we stopped feeling interested or excited about these things anymore.

Earlier, birthday used to mean a full day of enjoyment and a day off, but now we feel more interested in working ,even on our birthday.

Has this started happening with you too?

Don’t know why this happening… maybe we’re just growing up, or maybe responsibilities matter more , than celebration.

maybe…In the journey of adulting, while solving work and problems, childhood seems to have drifted very far away.

We haven’t grown that old yet, but life has made us mature enough that small things like birthdays don’t feel as exciting anymore. Yes, the enthusiasm and excitement for festivals are still
the same , but birthdays no longer feel as special as they used to during our school or college days, right?

Maybe this is what we call change…maybe this is what we call growing up…

But we have to keep a little bit of our childhood alive guys, it’s these small little things that make life more joyful.

And yeah, maybe we really have grown up now, guys.
