Insecurity speaks louder when it tells women what not to do

Have you ever worked really hard for an exam,
a sport, or an interview – but after making a small mistake
or getting a bad result,
heard someone says, ” you’re girl, you can’t do all this….
girls aren’t made for such things”?
Of course, you must have heard it – because you’re a girl, after all.

When a girl gets a little late for something, they’ll be like –
” You’re a girl, why did you even choose this profession?
If you can’t handle it, just quit.”
And maybe it’s in this very insecurity that half of a
woman’s career slip away…
Thinking – ” If I do a little less, they’ll compare me.
If I do a little more, they’ll taunt me.

Sometimes I ask myself – do they even care?
Or are these few people just too
small-minded to watch a woman get ahead,
so all they do is mock her and that’s it.

From self-doubt to self-belief

I’m not saying that women don’t get opportunities, or that they
aren’t allowed to do what they want…Of course, times have changed
women are getting chances, and they’re doing everthing they dream of.
But but but… no matter what a woman does, her
work is always compared, yaar

A Mother Handling Everything,
Still Rewarded With Insecurity

A mother who also holds a high position at work has
many responsibilities, but still her family says –
” You keep forgetting to warm the baby’s milk, you even forget
to change the baby’s diaper.
Why don’t you just quit your job? You can’t handle both work and
home together.
maybe many women hear these things every single day.
And some, with a quiet smile, decide to step back –
Thinking maybe they really can’t manage work and home.

But remember one thing – a woman can live without a man
and still raise her children with strenght and grace.
But a man alon? He can’t handle what a woman does every
single day.

So no, they don’t get to tell us what we can or cannot do.

A sharp Mind, Constantly Made to Feel Less,
Because she is woman.

Even if a girl tops the exam, people will still say – Oh..leave it,
she’s just a girl…after all, she’ll end up washing dishes.

But what they don’t realize is – hearing all this feels strange,
really strange.
If someone said all this to a boy, he’d find it strange, right?
We feel the same – really really strange.

Even after hearing so much, we still stands tall and never
let our dreams lose…Tell me, who could be stronger than us?

If not us, then who else could it be!
