No Screens This Weekend: My Plan to Disconnect and Reset.

weekend?
These days, my screen time has increased
a lot… so this sunday, I’m going to try
a no-screen, whole-day challenge.
I know I’ve taken on a really difficult task
this weekend, but it’s something I really
need to do.
So this weekend, I’m going completely
screen-free for one full day – no TV,
no phone, no laptop. And there’s a simple
way to make this day fun, Which can make
this whole journey much easier.
I’ll help my mom and grandma with
household chores, and then take a short
afternoon nap with them….
I’ll also spending some time in the kitchen,
helping them cook, and maybe even
sitting through their little ladies’ “gossip
sessions”- which I usually find a bit boring…
but for this challenge, I’m in.
And maybe the most important part –
because nights are when I miss my phone
the most – I’ll end the day curled up with
my favorite book.
And that’s my plan for this weekend – a
small challenge that might actually be a
little tough.
Because these days, one of our biggest
problems is phone addiction- and by
making small plans like this, we can slowly
protect ourselves from it.
