Yes, we girls do check a guy’s salary and looks in an
arranged marriage – and there’s nothing wrong with that.
So let me get this straight – when he spends his life
dating girls, having fun, and then comes to see us for
marriage, he chooses us only because we’re
” beautiful, slim, fair, and perfect “in his eyes. But when we
decide based on how he looks , suddenly we’re the shallow ones?
Excuse me, how does that make any sense?
If he can marry for beauty, then we can too – fair and equal, darling.
Oh yes, we girls – if we truly fall for someone, we can die for him…
and kill for him too!
Her Work Deserves the Same Respect
You know what? Have you ever noticed –
when we girls are studying hard or doing something important,
that’s exactly when our families start -” Beta , bring some water”,
” Beta get up from here, sit there” -and the whole house suddenly
turns into a noise festival !
And see, when it’s about the boys in the house –
If they say, ” No one should make any noise, I’m studying ,
I have important work this week,” Everyone tiptoes, whispers,
and behaves like they’re living in a library .
Because he needs to focus, he needs peace.
And if the girl dares to say, ” Plese don’t disturb me.
Don’t make noise. Don’t keep calling me for every little things,
I’m working”,
oh, suddenly the comments start flying.
” Arre what moutain is she moving?”
” What does she even do all day on that laptop”?
“God Knows if she’s actually working or just pretending.”
I’m not saying that our family doesn’t support us – yes, they do.
But the truth is, our society’s upbringing itself has been like this –
that if you’re a girl , no matter how much work you do outside,
you’re still expected to take full responsibility at home too.
Let Her Drive, with equality.
People say that girls can’t drive well, they’re not good drivers.
By the way, girls are really good drivers.
But have you ever thought about it – people take out their
bikes and easily travel 30 km , 50 km, even 80 km, every day.
If you drive that much daily , of course your driving will
become the best , right?
And if a girl wants to drive that much, people won’t even let her,
a girl is only allowed to drive to a cack shop, tutions, college ,or
maybe the stationery store – and still, men expect to make no mistakes
at all.
But even with such limited driving, we girls still have the guts to
compete with you guys on the road.
So tell me, what more proof do you need that girls are some of
the best drivers out there? Right,girls.
Her Education, Freedom, and Equality
Well, one thing for sure – these days, even parents
have started paying real attention to their daughter’s education.
But sometimes I wonder – is this change happening
because today’s educated men only wants educated women to marry?
If not, that’s turly a good thing – but if yes, then that’s
definitely something to think about.
Come on, women! If you truly want to see change, then
support each other – women support women –
only then will change be possible , otherwise not.
