Just a Thought That Crossed My Mind

We feel that society is changing – women are finally getting what
they truly deserve, you know that whole women-and-men-equlity
kind of thing.
Because on TV, in movies, on social media, and in web series,
that’s exactly what we see…that it’s the era of women, the time
of empowerment.

But let’s be honest – what we see on TV, on social media, on the
internet, isn’t the whole world. Maybe a part of it looks like that, yes,
but in reality , my friend, the world out there….
society itself, is still a little different for women.

Even today women are expected to live with everyone’s permission.
Yes, the world is changing – but not for everyone, and certainly far
too little for women.

In today’s world, yes – we do educate our girls.
But still with the mindset that she’ll study only what the family approves of.
Because according to them, there are just three our four “respectable”
professions that suit a woman.
And if she dares to dream beyond that, the support suddenly disappears
So tell me, is this what we call progress for women?

It’s normal, but it needs to change

Of course, this must be happening with everyone….even with men sometimes.
But just imagine – if this happens to men, then to what extent must women be
facing it ?
The difference isn’t small, it’s massive.

And that’s the truth – this is the reality of the rest of the society,
the side you probably haven’t seen in people like yourself.

Not Just a Thought – I Think it’s reality

If a guy goes for a love marriage – it’s cool, it’s modern, it’s normal,
right? Because, of course, that’s what ” today’s generation” does!

But the moment a girl even thinks about a love marriage – boom!
the whole family suddenly turns into ” culture protectors” and
” society ambassadors.”

And the funniest part? In the same house, the brother can fall in love
and marry whoever he wants…but the sister? Oh no, beta that’s not
how our sanskaar works!

Welcome to the new modern society – where change is trending …
just not for girls yet .

If a girl does a love marriage with someone from her own
caste – problem.
If she marries outside her caste – problem.
If she falls in love with a rich guy – problem.
If she falls in love with poor guy – still a problem!
Like seriously, how many problems do you people have with women?
Just stop it, yaar!

And if a girl decides not to get married at all – oh, that’s a bigger problem!

Not a big thing, but an important one.

From my thoughts to every girl

Sometimes I even get angry at girls too!
have you ever seen a guy getting married before being settled or having
a job? Maybe he does get married before being settled – but after
marriage, he still builds his career. Right?
Then why do you sister, get married without having your own career?

At your parents house, your mom or brother must’ve said at least
once – maybe even jokingly – ” This isn’t your house, so don’t interfere,
keep your opinions to yourself.”
Maybe it was said as a joke, but you must’ve heard it at least once.

And after marriage, if everything goes well, that house becomes ” yours”,
but the moment something goes wrong – boom – “Get out of my house!”
Filmy line right? But it’s truth .

So…. don’t you think you should at least be independent enough
to biuld your own house?

Of course, this is the 21st century, but for girls, not much has
really changed.
They’ll educate them, but on their own terms.
They’ll let them learn, but only as per their wishes.

And the ones who dare to live life on their own terms, breaking all
those so-called permissions, receive taunts from this,
so-called ” changing” society.
