Winters Are Here…Do you have any nostalgic winter memories too?

Winter is almost halfway over, and this winter I
noticed something – maybe you did too.

You know that feeling called nostalgia? It’s something
like – winters have their own nostalgic moments that,
at some point, all of us have experienced.

Melting hair oil in warm water and then applying it
to our hair – that has to be the biggest winter memory

In winters, the strongest battle was between our love
for blankets and mom forcing us to take a bath.

Bathing reminded me –
how many of us went to school on winter morning without
taking a bath?

Warming ourselves by the bonfire, roasting food in ti,
and ending up with slightly blackened faces –
those winter memories are truly unforgettable.

Just winters and bonfires

Who knew these ordinary moments would someday
become such nostalgia?

Studying in winters wrapped in big, heavy blankets –
completely snuggled inside and trying to focus on books.

And having competitions with friends to see who could
blow out the most visible breath like smoke in the cold air…

Have you done all this too?

You know that, just like the seasons keep changing, life
also keeps changing – it never stay the same.

Maybe that’s why all these things are just memories now….
it’s been so many years, and I haven’t done a single
one of them anymore.

So why not do something this winter that makes us feel like
we’re going back into those memories and nostalgia?

Winters memories

Not much, just sitting with friends, family, or neighbors,
making a bonfire, roasting tasty snacks in it, and having a small
party.

By the way, do you also have some nostalgic winter memories –
things you used to do during winters?

If you do, please share them with us and refresh those
memories together.
