I notice this every time, and these days it shows up in almost
8 out of 10 cases.
Whenever a guy moves from a small town to a big city
for his career, people immediately say, Wow, he’s so ambitious,
so hardworking.
He’s definitely going to make his parents proud…he’ll grind,
rise, and live his life on his own terms. Nice!
And beyond that, nobody’s brain even dares to think anything
else. Which is nice , I guess…our society is wonderfully ‘supportive’,
right?
But yeah….frome this same supportive society, I’ve only heard
one thing: if a girl dares to do the same – move to another city
for a job or to build her career – suddenly the alarms go off.
Why send her so far? what if she does something wrong? What if
she ruins the family name?
Who knows what she’ll do in the city? Like seriously… the imagination
only works overtime when it’s a girl.

I mean, people keep saying society is changing..but in this so-called
‘evolving’ society, girls are still forced to hear the same old nonsense.
This is what we hear while building our careers – and sometimes,
this is exactly what ends up ruining it.
Don’t you feel we’ve listened to this long enough? It’s time for
things to change.
I believe there is a way…Just keep doing what you’re doing. Stay hungry
for your career. Do whatever it takes, but make sure you chase your
dreams till they’re real.
Running behind boys and this whole ‘love-love’ drama won’t save you
from the judgments of society, sister. None of that will protect you.
If you want to rise above all that noise, dream bigger than your
circumstances and then achieve those dreams.
Marriage will happen someday; it happens for everyone.
Be the kind of woman who shuts down those taunts not with words,
but with your work.
